Pierce Avenue

Pierce Avenue are Tony and Jaime Pierce, a husband/wife country music duo in Nashville, Tennessee.

They met in Texas, where they were working at a dancehall in Arlington called Cowboys. It was love at first sight. "There was no denying our instant chemistry," says Jaime, "I knew he was it for me!" They took the plunge and moved to Nashville together, but with very different things in mind. Jaime had already had some success that year as a solo artist under her old stage name "Jayme Lynn Scott," and Tony had landed the lead guitar position for Dustin Lynch.

Jaime (Beaver) Pierce was born and raised in the Michigan City/LaPorte, Indiana area. She started singing in front of an audience at 11 years-old. She sang all around her local area until she was 18 years old, singing at just about any event you can think of! From age 11 to present she's recorded 4 albums. She lead the cover band in Dallas, Texas at Cowboys Red River Dancehall in 2006. She had her single "Diggin' In" under her old stage name Jayme Lynn Scott, up to #30 on the Music Row Breakout Chart & #1 for TEN STRAIGHT WEEKS IN A ROW on the New Music Weekly Chart as an independent artist in 2010. She's opened for artists such as Neal McCoy, Jason Aldean, Ronnie Milsap, Chris Cagle, and Dustin Lynch.

Tony Pierce was born in Midlothian, Texas (30 miles South of Dallas. ) He's been playing guitar and singing professionally since the age of 14. He got his break fresh out of high school at 17, getting to play lead guitar and tour with Texas artist Sonny Burgess. Tony also played and sang background vocals for other fellow Texas artist Casey Donahew, played lead guitar in a house band in Arlington, Texas, and most recently played lead guitar for Broken Bow Records Dustin Lynch for 2 years. In 2012, Tony appeared on the Grand Ole Opry with Dustin 8 times, appeared in Dustin's "She Cranks My Tractor" music video, and was given the great opportunity to lend his vocals and guitar skills on Dustin's self titled album.

Tony and Jaime both love music! Writing it, singing it, performing it. They finally looked at each other one day and thought, why not do music together? Music is our passion and our other passion is each other...Pierce Avenue is born! Tony is a power house guitar player who will keep you thinking, 'What will this guy do next?' Jaime has the power voice that resembles Trisha Yearwood and Dolly Parton that leaves you scratching your head, 'That voice comes out of that girl?' Separate they are each good artists, but together they are a strong duo who can keep your eyes glued to the stage! At a recent writer's night, Tony and Jaime were told by Craig Waller: "It's like Keith Urban and Faith Hill came together and created a duo... I'd put money on it, that's going to work!"  Andy Reiss from the renowned western swing band, The Time Jumpers, said of a recent Pierce Avenue performance, "They kill it!!"
